Somewhere Deep in the Rocky Mountains
In silence, we go deeper within; only our true selves remain. These mountains host the calmness of the earth. I think this is why I and so many others are drawn to these ancient forms. They are raw nature. How can we believe we are more powerful than nature? As a society, we once shared a sacred bond with Earth. We have moved away from this by surrounding ourselves with constant noise and distraction. Nature communicates to us through the flow of creeks, the deep moan of winds, the awakening of birds and the power of waterfalls. These are all things that guide us to where we truly belong.
Deep within the Rocky Mountains, I hear the silent songs of the summits.
