Mt Yamnuska | Base Jumping

“The mountains have always been a place where we can find freedom. Yet for each of us, this freedom can manifest in different ways”. Adventure and risk are deeply personal, with each individual finding excitement at different thresholds. For some, adventure is hiking through the mountains, while for others, it is rock climbing steep faces or jumping from summits. Adventure is about stepping beyond the familiar and embracing the unknown in a way that resonates with our own souls.

The Summit of Mt. Assiniboine

With an elevation of 3,618 meters, Mt Assiniboine stands over the valley with absolute authority. When I first saw it 8 months ago, attempting to push the summit felt unattainable. Since then, my team and I have been devoting ourselves to mountaineering and it quickly became a very real objective. On August 29th, Mikey Farmer and I summited via the North Ridge. Mt Assiniboine was just the beginning.

Assiniboine Provincial Park | 5 Days Ski-Touring

Nature holds a profound stillness, one that I believe is important for everybody to have in their lives. It connects us to the natural world and to ourselves. Spending time in Assiniboine Provincial Park, this stillness was a loud echo in my mind.

Spending a Day in a Moulin

Ice Climbing in the summer sounds kinda ridiculous but we found a way. Rappelling 35 meters down into a moulin we spent the day ice climbing our way out. It was a surreal experience and a great way to get ready for the winter adventures are are to come.

The Grand Sentinel

“A big part of exploring the mountains, is knowing when to turn around”. The Grand Sentinel has been a goal of mine for a while to mark my progression in climbing. With some complications before the climb, I wasn’t able to get any sleep and used all my energy to get to the base of the climb. I quickly realized that I was not going to complete the climb and definitely not in a respectable fashion. Sometimes you need to accept defeat and try another day
